This medication is not used to treat vaginal yeast infections. Flagyl usually has no reported affect on fertility, although it is an antibiotic so that means that it can decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills which can make it more likely to get pregnant.
There have not been very many human studies of Flagyl in women, although several animal studies have been done. The animal studies failed to show evidence of fetal harm. It has been proven, however, that Flagyl does cross the placental barrier.
Some studies did show that Flagyl was associated with an increased risk of cleft lip or cleft palate. However, those studies have not been confirmed. Many doctors use Flagyl to treat STD’s during any stage of pregnancy, and consider it to be a safe drug.
It is classified as a pregnancy category B drug which means that use is not recommended during the first trimester, but that is all that the FDA says about this drug during pregnancy. If you are using Flagyl or thinking about using it, make sure to talk with your doctor to make sure that there are no concerns that you need to be aware of.

Myself and my husband had been trying to get pregnant for 18 months before I was referred to Native Iyabasira fertility solution.
